Alex Bachmann

I’m Alex! I grew up here on the North Shore and fitness and health have always been a priority in my life. I grew up doing Jr. Lifeguards and gymnastics which set the foundation for my athletic and competitive career. In high school I was on the swim and water polo team. I love being a part of a team and encouraging other team members. I swam for a semester in college but unfortunately hurt my shoulder and quickly realized I would have a difficult time continuing to swim and gain a degree. I became a registered nurse in 2014 and have been working since then. Currently work in the emergency room at Kaiser.

I found Lagree when I was newly postpartum as a way of low impact exercise and something to help strengthen my core and pelvic floor after pregnancy and birth. I am very passionate about pre and post natal fitness. I am a certified pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise specialist and have also taken workshops in safe pre and postnatal modifications specific to Lagree and the micro former by Senior Master Trainer Heather Perren. I am Level 1 and Advanced Level 2 Lagree Fitness Certified by Master Trainer Katrina Nakada.

My goal is to give you a safe and effective full body workout while keeping it fun, new and exciting! This workout is challenging. I will guide you with effective cues and motivation while focusing first and foremost on correct form and alignment as well as that slow slow tempo. And help you to form that mind and muscle connection and connect back to your breath while maximizing time under tension. You will be sure to sweat and shake but will leave feeling accomplished and happy.

Felicia Land

Felicia grew up in Boise, Idaho and moved to Oahu to attend BYUH after high school. She met her husband and has lived here ever since. Fitness has always been a passion of hers and getting a good work out in is a priority. Felicia did gymnastics growing up and also ran cross country and was a cheerleader. Felicia and Alex met at Daniel’s gym in 2018 and have been friends since! They bonded over fitness and then had their babies together in 2020. They found pilates and then Lagree when they were newly post partum and have been hooked since then. Felicia has spent countless hours obsessing, studying and practicing new sequences and gaining in-depth knowledge of all the moves on the microformer. She is Level 1 and Advanced Level 2 Lagree Certified by Master Trainer Katrina Nakada. She has also taken a micoformer specific workshop as well as a pre and postpartum workshop by Master Trainer Heather Perren. Felicia’s goal is to give you a fun and new sequence with seamless transitions, maximizing time under tension and ensuring that you are maintaining safe and effective form and tempo. She is a fun and challenging instructor
